About Growing Up STEM

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 13TH

Check-In: 3:30 pm
Event Time: 4-5:30pm

Los Alamitos High School (LAHS) Growing Up STEM Club is bringing science to life for Rossmoor Elementary students with a fun-filled evening of magic and discovery!

The event kicks off with a lively magic show featuring engaging demonstrations that make science feel truly magical. (The show will be held outdoors, so please dress for the weather.)

After the show, students will split into smaller grade-level groups to take part in interactive, hands-on experiments—giving them the chance to explore, create, and experience the wonder of STEM up close.

If your student would like to participate in the Rossmoor Growing Up STEM event, please complete the Sign Up Form for their appropriate grade level. If you have more than one student participating, a separate form is required for each child.

Parent Attendance Requirement
(Kids Korner children exempt)

Parents must remain onsite for the duration of the event; however, we do ask for parents to wait outside the rooms. This is not a drop-off event. This requirement does not apply to students attending through Kids Korner, who will be coordinated separately.

The cost is $10 per student, and participation is limited to current Rossmoor Knights.

Registration closes October 31 or when all registration slots are filled, whichever comes first. Space is limited!
